Correction message sent to wiki-en list
[edit]It is not clear to me if I have directed this message to the correct e-mail address. If not, I hope you can help me to fordward it to the correct place.
I read your biography on Lale ANDERSEN, and found an important incorrect information.
Wikipedia says: "She married Rolf Libermann who was Jewish, and lived with him for the rest of her life."
This information is not correct, because Lale Andersen was married to someone else:
"... at age 17 she married the Worpswede painter Paul Ernst Wilke. In 1931, now the mother of three children, she left her husband to make her own way in Berlin."

Here you can see the relationship between Lale Andersen and Rolf Liebermann: http://www.sikorski.de/en/frameloader.html?frame=http%3A//www.sikorski.de/composers/composer52.html
"When one glances back to the early 1930s, one encounters the Swiss-born composer as a composer of chansons and collaborator in cabaret events who made the artistic acquaintance of Liselotte Wilke, the later legendary Lale Andersen."

- I added some of the citations, and removed the contested sentance, which is:
- "She married Rolf Libermann who was Jewish, and lived with him for the rest of her life. Because of her marriage to Liberman she was persecuted by the Nazi regime."
- Sorry Sam, I hadn't seen this... I was in the process of rewriting this and somehow I didn't even get an edit conflict when I saved. Anyway, I think it's correct now, and adequately sourced, too :-) Now someone should improve that Rolf Liebermann article! Lupo 12:28, 16 January 2006 (UTC)

Good work
[edit]Having read through this, with the exception of the sources, and having assessed this for Project Germany, I feel this is an excellent and well-written article indeed; congratulations! Tropical wind (talk) 13:46, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Cause of Death
[edit]The German version of this page gives Andersen's cause of death as Liver Cancer though neither German nor English page cite any sources. Coolavokig (talk) 19:45, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
Several of the external links included in the "References" no longer exist or cannot be accessed. It seems to me, that some updating is required by now. Alas, I do not have the time for it now. Perhaps later! Anyone interested in helping out? Thank you ever so much! --JeffDellbart (talk) 10:56, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
